Entry test
Looking to join your dream study program without the usual diploma qualifications? No worries! If you have at least 3 years of work experience in the field and are currently employed, you can still prove your worth with an entry test. Nail the test, and voila! You’ll be eligible for admission to the program of your dreams.

Admission to Bachelor or Associate Degree
At SMART Caribbean, the general requirement for admission to our Bachelor's or Associate degree programs is a HAVO, VWO, or MBO level 4 diploma. However, there might be cases where an entry test is necessary or specific requirements are set for your HAVO/VWO transfer profile. Rest assured, our aim is to ensure a fair and comprehensive evaluation of your qualifications and potential.
Havo/VWO
Having a HAVO or VWO diploma makes you eligible for admission to a program at SMART. In some cases, you may also need to have successfully completed a final exam in a specific subject or meet certain requirements related to your transfer profile. Our goal is to ensure a well-rounded evaluation of your qualifications and ensure the best fit for your educational journey at SMART.
SBO Diploma
If you hold an SBO diploma, you will be required to take part in an entry test at our head office. Foreign Diploma
If you possess a foreign diploma and wish to enroll in a course, it is essential to demonstrate proficiency in the Dutch language if you intend to pursue a course taught in Dutch. This serves as an initial requirement for admission and ensures that your language skills are up to date.
Admission to an SBO course
Working, without a degree
We recognize that as a working individual, pursuing a degree might not have been an immediate possibility. That’s why we offer you the opportunity to study with us through an entry test. The test is designed to evaluate your knowledge and skills, allowing us to determine an appropriate entry level and provide you with the opportunity to develop and progress further. Not completed
Students have the opportunity to continue their studies based on the subjects they have previously taken. We greatly appreciate the knowledge and skills you have gained through your previous education. Therefore, we would like to extend an invitation to you to join us and further your studies. Before you begin, we will carefully review and assess the courses you have completed to ensure a smooth transition and provide the necessary guidance throughout your academic journey.
Mulo Diploma
Students who hold a MULO diploma have the opportunity to pursue further studies. Our primary objective is to assist you in unlocking your full potential and guiding you towards a successful future.
