Am I eligible for admission?

Admission Requirements for Higher Education (HBO)
• Copy of High School or College Diploma (HAVO/VWO) and exam results or
• Copy of GED results and GED certificate
• Copy of ID card or Passport

• Work experience (for Business Programs)

What is the duration per course?

We offer Higher Education (HBO level) with different durations. You can choose between:
Business Programs - Duration: 10 months
Associate Degree - Duration: 18 months
Bachelor Degree - Duration: 48 months

Vocational Education (MBO level):
Business Programs - Duration: 10 months
Full programs - Duration: 36 months

Can I combine work and study?

At our academy, we understand that many students have work and other responsibilities. That's why we offer online courses that can be easily combined with work. With our flexible learning options, students can study at their own pace and on their own schedule, making it easier to balance work and education.

What is the spoken language?

English will be the primary language of communication. Our teachers are fluent in English, as well as Dutch.

What happens if I miss class?

Force majeure situations can occur unexpectedly, preventing students from attending lessons. At SMART Caribbean, every live lesson is recorded by the teacher. In the event that a student misses a lesson, they can watch the recording and ask questions afterwards in the Microsoft Teams chat.

How do I contact support?

In our support we make you aware of your capabilities, opportunities and challenges. Sometimes it becomes apparent during or even before the course that you have difficulty with a certain subject. Then it is useful to brush up on your knowledge of this. As a student, you will be assigned a coach (teacher) who will guide you through your studies and monitor your study progress. You can also contact the Student Affairs Office for support with specific problems.

Do I get a diploma after completion?

After completing each course or training at SMART Caribbean you will receive a certificate or diploma. Upon completion of your Bachelor's degree, you will receive the title 'Bachelor of Business Administration'

How do I sign up?

Simply go to the course page for which you wish to register, then click on the 'join now' button. After your registration, our study advisor will contact you via your mobile number. Please note that you always enter the correct mobile number.

What payment methods does our institution accept?

We accept the following payment methods:

Can I pay for my courses in installments?

SMART Caribbean offers flexible payment plans that allow students to spread the costs of their tuition fee in 4 or 12 installments per year.

How do I get a refund?

We understand that there may be situations where a refund is necessary. To initiate a refund, please contact our customer service team and provide your order details and reason for the refund request. Refunds will be processed within 60 working days of approval and will be issued using the original payment method. Please note that refunds may be subject to a processing fee and/or other terms and conditions outlined in our refund policy.

How do I know if my payment has been successfully processed and confirmed?

A statement will always be sent to our students as soon as your payment has been received. It is important to always email the proof of transfer to [email protected]

How do I cancel my subscription?

If you want a break or if there are reasons why you cannot continue the course (yet), you can indicate this to our support officers. You won't be charged during your 'break'.
Please note: refunds are only given in case of dissatisfaction

Are there any additional fees associated with the payment method I choose?

There are administrative fees associated with every payment in installments. The admin fee comes to $30 per year.

Is it possible to pay for my courses using a credit card?

This is the easiest payment method you can use, if you want a changed amount than stated on the website, we will send you an invoice via stripe and you can easily pay via credit card!

Are there any discounts available for paying with a certain payment method?

If you bring a friend to follow a course or training at SMART Caribbean, you will receive a discount on your college fees. The more people you designate, the greater the discount.

What is the price for one year?

The price per year will be $3.350

What are the different pricing plans available?

SMART Caribbean offers flexible payment plans that allow students to spread the costs of their tuition fee in 4 or 12 installments per year:
US$ 845,- Quarterly or
$295 per month

Business course plans start from $170 per month.

Will I be notified of any updates or changes?

Our students are kept informed of our improvements and developments by email at all times.

How do I know which pricing plan is best suited for my needs?

At SMART Caribbean, our study advisor is at your disposal at all times, as is our financial advisor. If you are in doubt, an appointment can be made with you and our student finance advisor to best advise you on which pricing plan to choose

Can I switch between pricing plans at any time?

It is possible to change payment plan. This must be indicated to the finance department at least one month before the next payment. Based on this you will receive an adjusted invoice for the upcoming month(s).
